Functional Overload
So, day four of working full-time after a two-year hiatus begins, and I'm realizing that I've become a little bit of an introvert. I'm not introverted by nature, but your ability to deal with people is both innate and learned (and must be practiced, of course). I'm out of practice.
Also, I'm working on a couple of big freelance projects that keep me up late, so I'm tired. Usually, I'd just sleep an extra couple of hours during the day. Och, I have no reason to complain. I've had a pretty cushy life for a couple of years here. Now I've got a job that fits me well, working for a company I like, with coworkers who are fun and easy to work with. I guess I'm just downloading the experience for you guys. I recognize that I'm blessed, but that won't keep me from going through withdrawals.

That's a huge leap to go from living room and late nights to a desk and stapler lifestyle.
How's the bike ride through the debris and fallen palms?
I bet you're cutting out early to go the the presidential debate tonight huh. Should be a fabulous event. Lots of balloons and flashin montages, quick cuts from expression to expression. I hope they subtitle it for us and do a nice soft focus lens like Barbra Streisand demands.

I've got answers to questions and some comments to give, but I'm super-busy just now, so in response to Mike's comments on the debates, I'll just leave you with this in case you missed it.
More comments, probably, to follow.
